About

The Care Home

Brandreth Lodge

We are fully committed to providing friendly, comfortable, and individual care to each and every resident. The home is fully supported by regular visits from general practitioners and district nurses, as well as providing other community services including chiropodists, physiotherapists, opticians, dieticians, and dentists

Dining Experience

Our in-house professional and experienced chefs prepare delicious homemade dishes that take into full consideration any nutritional needs or special dietary requirements that you may have. All of our food is freshly prepared using the finest, locally sourced ingredients. Meals are served in our elegant dining room, although you may decide to have this in your room if you prefer. In addition, we also serve tea, coffee, and light snacks upon request.

Visitors

We know that friends and family are very important to you, and they are always welcome in your home at Brandreth Lodge. If you wish to, we will support you in every possible way to go out with friends and family at any time, taking into account your safety and wellbeing. Brandreth Lodge operates an open-door policy for visitors and if we know they are coming, we would be very happy to arrange a meal to be waiting for them. You can choose to enjoy this either in private or in our dining room.

Activities and social occasions

We believe that Brandreth Lodge is a community, and to help you to feel settled in your home, and build friendships with other residents, we have a range of activities, clubs, and groups that you can choose to join in, or not, it really is up to you. We are keen to get to know all of our residents likes and dislikes as well as their interests and hobbies so we can make sure that our program of activities is stimulating and varied, as well as providing something for everyone’s tastes and needs. However, there is no pressure to get involved if you would prefer to sit something out and have some personal space.

Brandreth Lodge is also able to offer opportunities for a short stay to enable you to have a change of scenery and meet new people through our quality person centered respite care, both for you and your family. We know how difficult it can be to leave your loved ones in a new environment, however we will work alongside you to ensure everyone can relax during their respite stay

How we will support you during a short stay

We encourage you to come for a visit and meet with our dedicated team of staff and some of our residents if you wish. We can hold open activity sessions prior to you coming to stay to help you become more familiar with us and your new home. Our upcoming events through spring include Gardening, Pamper Afternoons, and Pet therapy.

We will arrange with you to have meetings in your new home between you, your family, and your key carer to help us get to know you all and find ways to increase your familiarity and enjoyment during your stay.

Being part of the Brandreth Lodge community, you will be able to benefit from our team of qualified nurses, care assistants, activity coordinators, domestic assistants, and catering staff, ably led by the Home Manager and her Deputy, all of whom look forward to welcoming you at Brandreth Lodge.

Issa Care Group are proud to announce our new 24-hour community support service to provide tailored support for when you return home so that both you and your relatives have peace of mind over your safety and wellbeing.
